over the past couple of morning the children have woken to find Alfie the elf in some compromising positions . Helping himself to the syrup, having a bath and would you believe it sneeking back in to the house via the letter box.
There have been Christmas crafts .All completely made and instigated by the kids. At 36 weeks pregnant and full of cold I feel about as useful as a chocolate tea pot.
Today we celebrated st Nicholas day. The children left out a boot each containing there letters to st Nicholas last night and woke this morning to some small gifts.
These gifts included some felt decoration kits.
And some tiny paint boxes for the smallest two. Both of which have been put to good use today.
Summer baked mince pies and jasmine made some traditional st. Nicholas day treats .small biscuits called peppernuts ! Both were delicious !
