Today we celebrated martinmas. As the nights draw in we focus upon the light within us.
We spent the morning reading our traditional storys and Colouring in pictures.summer also made a cute little paper lantern.
We made watercolour paintings and wrote out our michaelmas verse .
This afternoon the girls made some pretty glass jar and tissue paper lanterns which flickered beautifully on the mantel .
A quiet and simple day of celebration.x
