Advent wreath a new take.

This year although there is a lack of wreath about or advent wreath,

we were a bit late in it being finished too and had to burn Sundays candle on Wednesday, but still i thing all our efforts have payed off.

We melted old wax and some cheap tea lights and voltives.

Placed a star shaped cookie cutter in some foil.

Placed a wick in the centre of the cookie cutter

Tipped in the melted wax

Waited for it to set.


Its quite time consuming as we only had one star shaped cutter all in all it took 2 afternoons to make, but here is the finished result.

We will continue to light one star each sunday of advent!
