Busy little fingers!

Iv been slacking with the blog posts again. I seem to be forever running out of time, i swear i blink and iv missed a week!
Here's a quick update of what my busy babies have been up to recently.

First a little finger rhyme that summer cared to share with me, i found it rather amusing and thought it may give you a giggle.( all spider lovers please look away!................)

 THIS ...................
 IS......................
 HAROLD.....................
 Harold says HI................

 SPLAT................Harold dies!

RIP Harold..............................

So silliness aside what else have we been up to, lets see..........

oh yes, getting very painty fingers, whilst creating masterpieces.
Getting very sticky hands, whilst making shortbread.
cutting out some tasty gingerbread men.

The girls have been playing at fashion design n redesigned the royal wedding (I'm thinking they may have been exposed to Chanel 4s gypsy wedding program)
we also had some more wonderful designs!
Gypsie has started and almost finished a wall display on mini beasts, shes coloured in and labeled many a beasty learning lots along the way.

Gypsie and summer also had me draw around the outline of their bodies to make life size maps of their insides..........

Iv Just noticed Jasmine seems to have avoided the camera over the past week.....ummm, will have to make up for that next time.....Jas has been very much getting in to an online astronomy course.http://www.kidsastronomy.com/academy/index.htm.I would definitely recommend it, shes been getting down to some serious work without any complaints what so ever. For me this is home ed at its finest, she wants to learn about astronomy and she can, she can learn as little or as much as she likes and study for 30 minutes or 3 hours, the choice is hers and shes learning and loving it!

Along the way there have been many a story shared, books read, workbooks filled in,worksheets completed, veg and flowers planted,Chickens chased, pictures drawn and cakes made. We are all very much enjoying our home ed journey and i hope you've enjoyed hearing all about it too.

until next time .
