Autumn festivities

I used to really dislike the end of summer ...now I can't get enough of the changing seasons.
Yes its glorious to spend all day outdoors basking in the golden sunshine but now ...now is the time for golden leaves making a colourful carpet on the concrete paths ; dew dropped covered cobwebs that hang  like bejewelled decoration.Cosy evenings spent by candle light and delicious hot food and cocoa.

We are truly embracing all that is beautiful about this season .

The children have enjoyed carving their pumpkins (we turned a couple in to bird feeders )and the younger ones had fun trick or treating.

We have also celebrated Charlie's ninth birthday!
I can't believe how fast time flies by and how quickly the seasons change but one things for sure there  is beauty everywhere and (to use my favourite phrase ) there's always a reason to celebrate!
