EASTER 2015

This Easter weekend has been great.

The Easter Bunny was very generous and not only brought chocolate but some small craft kits for the girl's and a tiny bunny lego set for Charlie.

I was delighted to get some un-requested help in the kitchen from Jasmine and Gypsie when preparing the traditional roast lamb lunch.

We also had our usual Easter Egg hunt.Robbies first one as he was too tiny to join in last year.

The best thing about the weekend has been just going out and enjoying the gorgeous coast that we are so fortunate to live on.

On Sunday Jasmine asked if we wanted to walk down forlands to see the horses. We ended up walking right along the newly re-opened coastal path leading from forlands to the top of Howegate. Although I was worried I'd not get right along with the pram we did manage it.(Thankfully Paul came along too and was able to help with lifting up steps to bridges and such)
It's a gorgeous walk ,unfortunately the views of the shore below are not what they used to be as much of the way is obscured by hedges ,but if your like me and like fields of  horses and sheep the view on the other side of the path is just fine. Jasmine even spotted a pair of pheasants.

The day finished with a bed full of children as we all snuggled down to watch Snow White And The Huntsman.(actually a lot scarier than I thought it would be)

Today at Summers request we headed off down to Lane End Beach for an hour or so.The weather today has been fantastic. Warm enough for t-shirts and the first paddling of the year.Robbie explored the shore for the first time, copying his brother and sister's as he picked up pebbles and attempted to throw them in to the sea.

We defiantly saw a glimpse of what the warmer weather has to offer today !

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend too .

Xxx
